TURKEY'S REAL ESTATE SECTOR INTRODUCED TO LUXEMBOURG FUNDS On March 3, 2016, GYODER and the DEIK Turkey-Luxembourg Business Council organized a meeting titled "Real Estate Sector Funds" in Luxembourg, the largest investment fund center in the Eurozone. In collaboration with the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and with contributions from Turkey's Embassy in Luxembourg, the meeting aimed to bridge the business communities of the two countries and enhance trade and investment volumes. The objective was to promote Turkey's real estate sector to the Luxembourg investment fund market, which broke records in September 2014 with an annual increase of 18.41%, surpassing €3 trillion and consisting of 3,900 funds. Additionally, the meeting aimed to provide information about Turkey's overall economic and investment environment and attract Luxembourg funds to real estate projects in Turkey. During the meeting, GYODER Vice President Özlem Gökçe, GYODER Vice President Haluk Sur, and GYODER Board Members Neşecan Çekici and Dr. M. Emre Çamlıbel, along with senior executives from Borsa İstanbul (BIST) and the Capital Markets Board (CMB), provided insights on investment opportunities in Turkey's real estate sector through capital market instruments, Real Estate Investment Funds, and sector dynamics.
