The second "Housing Finance and Turkey Conference," organized by the Capital Markets Board and the Association of Real Estate Investment Companies, was held on November 17, 2005, at the Swiss Hotel Istanbul, following the inaugural event last year, which garnered great interest. The conference featured sessions titled "Mortgage Financing in the EU and the US," "Successful Examples in Mortgage Housing Financing," "Sharing Roles in Housing Financing," and "The Turkish Reality - Evaluations," where many experts from Turkey, alongside world-renowned specialists, presented their findings. With the participation of international investors, banks, and representatives from other credit institutions, the conference achieved a record attendance of 615 participants, making it one of the most widely attended conferences in recent times. The event was supported by 21 sponsors and 7 media sponsors.
